On February 13, 2010, the Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra had the distinct honor of performing its Valentine’s Concert with Dmitri Levkovich, a world-acclaimed pianist and second prize winner of the 2009 Cleveland International Piano Competition. The historic stage of the Chagrin Valley Little Theatre--where the Studio Orchestra makes its home--came to life with movie scores that celebrated amore and a showcase performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. As evidenced by the numerous ovations, never before has our audience so enjoyed the musical entertainment we bring to the stage. This, indeed, was an artistic highpoint in the Chagrin Falls community and beyond, and its preservation ensures its place in our cultural history.
The Studio Orchestra and Little Theatre partnered with Five/Four Productions—a stellar team of sound technicians formerly with the Academy Award-winning Telarc—to share an archival recording of the Valentine’s Concert with you.
